“This is the Book: in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah”.

Baca punya baca, aku sampai ayat 143 surah alBaqarah..

“Thus have We made of you and Ummat justly balanced, that you might be witnesses over the nations, and the Messenger a witness over yourselves; and We appointed the Qibla to which you were used, only to test those who followed the Messenger from those who would turn on their heels (from the Faith). Indeed it was (a change) momentus, except to those guide by Allah. And never would Allah make your faith of no effect. For Allah is to all people most surely full of kindness, Most Merciful. ” (143)AlBaqarah

Ooouuu..

Kadang2 soalan ringkas tentang yang selalu buat pun mungkin kita tak tahu…

Ehh.. tapi kenapa Kaabah / Masjidil Haram?… Google2..

…alright…step by step….

Institusi Raja

Posted by goldenborn on February 7, 2009

Soalan cepumas Buletin Utama Feb 07, 2009:

“Mampukah kita terima bahawa suatu hari nanti institusi Raja-raja Melayu hanya mampu ditatap dari buku?”

Pemerhatian dan pandanganku:

Selama ni pun kutatap dari buku. Belajar dari buku. Sejarah sekolah menengah.

Yes. We. Can.

Posted by goldenborn on January 24, 2009

“Yes we can to justice and equality

Yes we can to opportunity and prosperity

Yes we can heal this nation

Yes we can repair this world…

Yes we can”

First time I watched this, the song just gave me goosebumps. Yes. True. Speech that was made into song. Speech that anybody can relate to. Whoever you are. Doesn’t matter whether you are an American, Malaysian, Indonesian, European, Australian, Russian, Chinese or Indian. We are people of the world. We all want to see change. Positive change. There has never been anything false about hope. It drives you far. To the destination that you’ve visioned. Towards a better future…

Siapa yang Veto?

Posted by goldenborn on January 7, 2009

Kau pernah dengar Renaissance? Nak suruh fikir sendiri…tak boleh pulak disuruh macam tu, sebab nampak sangat tak reti-reti bila masyarakat Bumi ni dah berbuih-buih memberitahu.

Orang selalu kata, orang tua lebih banyak makan garam. MUNGKIN sebab itu darah tinggi, susah nak fikir betul-betul sebab banyak masa dihabiskan keluar masuk hospital, bila dah keluar hospital fikiran masih tak stabil, keputusan dipengaruhi, bom sana bom sini. Semua mati.

Bila aku seronok flashback sejarah, kau flick channel HBO.

Bila aku sarankan berita terkini, kau buka Yahoo The Soup.dsc_02452

Bila aku baca Utusan, BH, USA Today (semua online je la), kau jenguk Facebook memanjang, tak pun Friendster (nasib baik ada virus tipu).

Bila aku tengok Youtube nak tau pasal orang tertindas tak kira agama, kau buka tab baru Youtube cari lagu Usher. Pandai betul…sabar je la.

Kau boleh baca, kan Syahirah?

+Boleh. tengah baca la ni. Ala…kau pon bukan pandai sangat.

Tapi kenapa perlu tengok kat siapa penyampainya?

+”Lead by example”. Contoh teladan.

Betul.

+Sorry. emo.

Raining instead of snowing

Posted by goldenborn on December 24, 2008

Raining heavily outside. Visibility distance is about 200 meters.  Now increases to 300 meters in few seconds.

Life is just too short after all. We always wonder what to do in the next hour, or at least in that particular day. I admit, I sometimes ignored the fact that life is too short.  “OK. It is short.” Done. Ting ting. My idea bulb  is glowing. Making its signature sound of brightness.

“…I chose to run for the presidency at this moment in history because I believe deeply that we cannot solve the challenges of our time unless WE SOLVE THEM TOGETHER- unless we perfect our union by understanding that we may have different stories, but we hold common hopes; that we may not look the same and we may not have come from the same place, but we all want to move in the same direction – towards a better future for of children and our grandchildren…,” – BARACK OBAMA at Constitution Center, Philadelphia, PA

This is a part of Barack Obama’s speech at Constitution Center in Pennsylvania during his campaign. I definitely agree. We all want to move in the same direction, yet thinking it might be best to use our own way in order to get there.

Let’s look at the content instead of the person who read nor wrote the speech.

1. WE ALL HAVE HOPES – Let’s scale it down. I have my own. My family, friends, teachers, all do have their own hopes. Common hopes. To provide the best family setting, to be the good friend (if not the best)  and to share the knowledge gained so far. Personally, it was rather easy to just have hopes and wishes. Most of the time I wished that I have the natural sports-wired brain (maybe I do). Easy to understand and do well in any sports I play. Yet, God showed me that working hard taught me to be a better person each day. Alhamdulillah. Nothing is wrong with hoping. What matters is – will it remains as it is, hope, or will it be a reality?

2. WE MAY NOT LOOK THE SAME AND COME FROM THE SAME PLACE – A man may have about 25 000 genes in his DNA , 1500 more than a chimp. That 1500 genes are genes that made us human. Lack of that 1500 genes – made a chimp, a chimp. Each of God creations, has its own uniqueness. A cheetah has its own physiology that enables it to be the fastest animal on the land. While human, is gifted by God a mind. To think.  It’s our nature of being able to differentiate good and bad, bright and dark, black and white.

 3.  WE MAY HAVE DIFFERENT STORIES – Definitely.  Every decision we made, created another story. Story of our own. I admit, I have my own walk of shame and till now, I am still struggling to be better person, just like all of you. Stories of life that are written on the parchment of present can’t neither be erased nor Ctrl+Z.  You may wish it can, but accept the fact it’s not the way nature works.

AND WE ALL WANT TO MOVE IN THE SAME DIRECTION, TOWARDS A BETTER FUTURE OF CHILDREN AND OUR GRANDCHILDREN…….

Fine. Some people questioned why do we bother about the next generation but not this generation. Honey, we wont’t be thinking about the next generation if we are not worried of what’s going on now!

Aidiladha, Zulhijjah 10, 1429

Posted by goldenborn on December 8, 2008

Kelas sahaja kalau ye pun. Sungguh, malam semalam ku hampir lupa yang hari ni raya Aidiladha. Menyiapkan powerpoint presentation Biomechanics untuk hari ini.

Sebelum tidur, aku dengar takbir raya. Bertuah sungguh sekarang, nasib baik ada youtube, google, yahoo..semua-semua itulah.

Amin….

Happy birthday Abah

Posted by goldenborn on November 29, 2008

Entah kenapa, kehilangan ayahnya membuatkan aku sedih. Sungguh. Tak tahu kenapa. Hampir setiap jam aku mengatakan aku sedih. Pelik sungguh. Mungkin aku teringatkan abah. Pasti aku teringatkan abah. Birthday abah dah nak dekat. Satu Disember.

Fathers play an essential role in their daughter’s lives. Many things are learned and many things are taught. Some of the most meaningful moments in a daughter’s life are spent with her father.

Women can be assertive without being aggressive“. When daughters learn to communicate with their fathers, and trust that their opinion will count, they can develop self-assuredness which will allow them to be assertive and stand up for themselves.

Nielsen’s own research has been conducted among her college students over a span of more than 15 years, and like other researchers before her, she acknowledges that positive fathering produces well-adjusted, confident and successful daughters who relate well to other men in their lives.

The father-daughter relationship is constantly evolving, whether you’re aware of it or not, and it’s really
important in shaping the little girl who will one day become a woman. Far from insignificant, your
dad’s influence can be seen many areas of your life, can explain your behavior and the choices you make.

A loving, respectful and proud father can work miracles on his daughter’s ego. He gives her confidence and teaches her that she’s capable of succeeding.

It’s said that a woman looks for her father in the relationships she has with men. That’s not entirely true. But the relationship she has with her father will impact upon her relationships with men.

BUDDY DAD
He is his daughter’s pal. They often do things he enjoys together. Heencourages his daughter to try new things, even if it is predominantly a male activity. Buddy Dad is a great storyteller, but often his stories are about things he is interested in. As an adult, the daughter often sees her father as the one who taught her to stand up for herself and strive for what she wants. He may not have taken the time to talk about girl stuff, but he always supported his daughter’s choices.

Thank you Dad. I love you. I miss the time we shared to discuss about world issues, we shared opinions and thank you because you shaped my stand.

Back to School Deal

Posted by goldenborn on August 24, 2008

Let’s talk about Olympics again.

Summer Olympics Beijing 2008 has now come to an end. With China topped other countries in the gold medal count, it is very clear that Beijing has had a very huge impact on Olympics. So thus Olympics on Beijing and China generally.

When Phelps won his 7th gold the difference of 1/100 seconds, everything is possible. The fastest man inthe world, Usain Bolt of Jamaica ran 100m in 9.69 seconds. The unseeded badminton mixed doubles of South Korea, Lee Hyo-jung and Lee Yong-dae defeated No. 1 Indonesia, Liliyana Natsir and Nova Widianto in straight sets.

37 world records broken in Olympics Beijing 2008.

No pain, no gain. You will never be ready unless it’s the time that forced you to be ready

This is the deal

Since school will start soon, take the time to go through your schedule. Figure out what you should improve. Your organizations, reading skill, time management.

Prioritize. Always remember to prioritize. This will definitely helps you to be more organized.

“Ask yourself, ‘If I only had 60 seconds on the stage, what would I absolutely have to say to get my message across?’ “
